It’s day 2 of the Sparkly Badgers Ghost Hunt! If you haven’t already started, all the instructions are below.
As part of the fun, I thought I’d share some of my favorite stories featuring magic, mystery, and mayhem. All of these are by indie & small press authors, just like the books for the ghost hunt giveaway.
- The Undead Canadian series by T. Strange. If you like zombies, humor, and romance all in the same place, this series is for you. It’s quirky and fun.
- Beyond the Dark Waters series by Graham West. I devoured books like these as a teenager. Creepy and mysterious.
- Appalachian Elementals series by Jeanne G’Fellers. A uniquely Appalachian folklore-based fantasy.
- Cleaning House
- Mama, Me, and the Holiday Tree (expected 11/5/2018)
- For a Glance, by Dan Ackerman. A different take on the Devil. Weird but cool.
- Short works from the Seasons of Love anthology (which also includes two of the ghost hunt prizes, The Great Village Bun Fight and Year of the Guilty Soul).
- Tourist Season, by Deven Balsam. Another underworld-themed tale.
- Out of Season, by Bob Stone. A demon messing with the space-time continuum.
- Machete Betty and the Office Sharks, by Neptune Flowers. Surrealism. Weird and fun.

Ghost Hunt Rules
Start here: www.cbvisions.weebly.com and look for a ghost somewhere on the website. They can be pretty sneaky, so you might have to click around and explore the authors’ sites to find them.
Find the ghost, get the letter and click to go through to the next clue. Each website/blog will have a ghost hidden somewhere. All you have to do is find them and collect all the letters.
Once you have the spooky phrase, post in the event and we’ll enter you into the grand prize draw to win 13 spooktacular eBooks.
Everyone who enters gets to choose a book prize but only one lucky hunter will go away with every eBook.
